6 days until departure - my camcorder

Bound for Italy and running a blog, I found a camera was a necessity. Do I want a big fat camera around my neck the whole time? Do I want really nice pictures? Do I have the money to buy a new camera with all these other expenses?
Well after Christmas sales save the day again. Target had a nice camcorder on sale for nearly half off. A camcorder means the pictures won't be top quality, but that videos will be a possibility. I think videos will capture what things are like more than pictures will anyway, and since the camcorder is just for documentation purposes, why not take videos? The device is rather small and fits in one hand like a soda can.
In other news, my euros were ready to pick up today, but I didn't make it to the office in time. I ordered about $300 worth, which is €230. I hope this will be enough cash, and I will be able to use credit cards otherwise. Tomorrow I'll probably be posting those.
