3 days - My Apartment

Today I received information about what to do when I get to Italy; How to get to my housing check-in from the airport, when we'll be apply for a residence permit, etc. Along with this information, I got two interesting tidbits: photos of my apartment and a schedule of orientation week.
They said that the apartment has undergone some reconstruction since the pictures were taken, and my guess is the place looks more dreary during the winter, but here's the pictures I received. Doesn't seem to shabby! I'll post some video of the whole place when I get there on the 12th.

The other tidbit, my schedule, brought exciting news. On January 16th my first 'field trip' with the school is planned. We'll be going to Verona for the day! I didn't expect a trip so quickly. It's about two hours directly east of Milan, as you can see here:

No other info was given, I have no idea if they have a whole day planned or they will just release us on the streets. My guess is the latter. But either way it's exciting to go to another big place within a few days!
